In PA, Support For Medical Marijuana Reaches Highest Level Ever: Poll

PENNSYLVANIA: Advocates and legislators pushing for the use of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania are applauding a survey showing support has swelled to its highest level in the Franklin & Marshall College Poll.

The opinion survey released Wednesday shows 84 percent of voters strongly favor or somewhat favor allowing adults to use medical marijuana for treatment if a doctor recommends it.

That’s up from 81 percent six months ago and 76 percent eight years ago, the oldest date listed on the poll from the Lancaster college.
