Iraq War Veteran, Marijuana Legalization Activist Launches Independent Candidacy For New Jersey Congressional District 12

NEW JERSEY:  Iraq War veteran Don DeZarn launched his independent candidacy for U.S. Congress in the 12th District.

Speaking on Friday to a gathering of New Jersey Veterans for Medical Marijuana, DeZarn announced his challenge of sitting U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12).

DeZarn highlighted his core goals, which include establishing congressional term limitis and abolishing Obamacare.

He also wants to end what he calls modern-day prohibition, which didn’t work when we tried it with alcohol and it is causing even more problems today when we apply it to marijuana. Billions of dollars are being wasted each year while we are fighting a war we have been losing since day one.
