Group Makes Way Through Missouri To Gain Support In Legalizing Marijuana

MISSOURI: A group is making its way through Missouri to gain support for legalizing marijuana. 

Wednesday night, Show-Me Cannabis held a town hall meeting in Kansas City.

They say 20,000 people are arrested every year in Missouri for cannabis possession. That makes up one third of all arrests.

“About $150 million every year from prohibiting cannabis and that’s about the same amount we spend on our community colleges in this area.” Executive Director John Payne said.
