Washington State Senator Proposes Bill To Prohibit Dispensaries From Selling Pure Marijuana

WASHINGTON:  A Washington state lawmaker is proposing a new way to deal with marijuana dispensaries: Don’t allow them to sell smokable marijuana, according to a report by The Associated Press.

Instead of traditional dried marijuana that users smoke, the bill would limit medical dispensaries to products with pot in them, such as edibles and concentrates.

Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, is proposing the bill as a solution to a messy and largely unregulated medical marijuana market.
