NEVADA: The debate over medical marijuana is about to pick up in Southern Nevada as Clark County Commissioners are about to tackle the issue head on.
Commissioners took questions from people interested in the highly regulated substance.
“This is a step in the right direction, but we need to make sure patients don’t get regulated out of the system,” Samuelson said. “If you eat it, you especially need to know how it was grown, where it was grown.”
Commissioners told the packed town hall meeting that vague directions from a new state law mean the county is going to have to figure out the details of how the new medical marijuana model will work.
