Seattle City Council Holding Vote On Proposed Marijuana Zoning Ordinances Today

The proposed rules will have a major impact on I-502 businesses in Seattle as well as current medical marijuana operations.

WASHINGTON: The Seattle City Council will be holding a vote on proposed zoning ordinances today which could effectually cripple the cannabis industry within the city limits.

They are considering not allowing anything within the largest industrial sector in south Seattle: IG1. If this happens, there will be very few locations available within the city, period. It is not too late to prevent this constraining measure from being adopted, but you must act today.

Please, show up to the meeting today, ready to testify and share your opinion. If you cannot make it, invite others who possibly could.

Meeting details:

Monday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m.
Council Chambers
Seattle City Hall, Floor 2
600 Fourth Avenue
Seattle, WA 98104

Major decisions which will effect the industry for years to come are being made throughout the state right now, our engagement in the process is key to developing an effective, safe and profitable cannabis industry.
