Marijuana, A Hotel And A Waterfront Development Highlight Big Week For Albany Business News

NEW YORK:  Doug Butdorf kicked off a busy week for the Albany, New York business community by outling plans to open medical marijuana dispensary that could serve 40 to 50 patients a day.

Butdorf, president of North Country Roots in Plattsburgh, is applying for a state license to grow medical marijuana and sell it at four dispensaries including one in Clifton Park in the center of Saratoga County, the fastest growing county in New York.

That was just one of the big stories last week of new investments in the Albany economy.
