Weed, Sun, Fun, Love: Oregrown Sponsors Craft Cannabis “Summer Fair”

July 14, 2016 by MJ News Network Leave a Comment

OREGON: On July 24, Oregonians will celebrate the bounty and diversity of cannabis at the Oregon Cannabis Association’s Summer Fair. Oregrown Industries, Oregon’s premier craft cannabis company, is the lead sponsor of the Portland event, which is free to adults 21 and over.

“Oregon is home to the best craft industries in the world, including beer and wine, coffee, chocolate and cannabis,” says Oregrown co-founder Aviv Hadar. “The Summer Fair offers a chance to sample the finest flower, artisan extracts and handcrafted edibles that Oregon has to offer.”

Currently, Oregon law prohibits medical marijuana dispensaries and recreational cannabis businesses from offering samples of cannabis products. However, because the Summer Fair is a free event, other kinds of cannabis businesses may offer samples for guests to enjoy at home.

Hadar says he is eager to share Oregrown’s exclusive flower cultivars and extracts and delicious edible products at the event.

“Just like Oregon’s other craft industries, cannabis businesses need an opportunity to share their products with the people who love them,” Hadar says. “That’s why Oregrown is proud to sponsor the Summer Fair.”

The Summer Fair will also feature crafts, games, and food and drink. Entrance to the event is free of charge to adults 21 and over, but every attendee must have a ticket. More information and tickets at www.thesummerfair.com.
