KENTUCKY: Based on the U.S. Justice Department’s reversal on recreational marijuana, state Agriculture Commissioner James Comer plans to push for Kentucky to begin issuing licenses for hemp cultivation by the end of the year.

KENTUCKY:  Agriculture Commissioner James Comer today cheered House passage of legislation to allow university research on industrial hemp. The measure was an amendment to the farm bill that passed in the U.S. House of Representatives.
